As western culture has changed over the years, so too has the way we process our foods, and eat them. In the interest of making more money, foods are processed to the point where they have lost most if not all of their nutritional value.
Lets take for instance, bread. Many years ago bakers had to make bread daily, because it would only keep on the shelf for about two or three days at the most. At some point someone decided that if they were able to make the bread last longer the inevitable result would be that they would throw out less bread.
To make bread last longer, it was determined that the naturally occurring oils were what caused the bread to go bad, so to remove them would give the bread a longer shelf life, and increase the amount of time for selling them before the bread spoiled.
Taking the natural oils out of the bread removes many of the nutritional properties of bread. There is a reason that they are there and every human in this world needs a certain amount of the benefits these oils provide in their diet to remain healthy. By removing them the bread loses a great deal of it’s nutritional value.
There are many instances of this in much of the food that the western world consumes today, from the over processed breads to the chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the produce that we buy.
Pre-packaged prepared foods are also full of chemical ingredients that are used to replace the taste of over processed foods. The processing of these foods removes a lot of the taste, and chemical additives such as MSG, are used to replace that.
It is believed that there is a direct correlation between the use of these chemicals in the food we eat, and the rise of cancer and other diseases in the western culture.
The reason this is happening is that these chemical additives accumulate in the colon, and are then released into our blood stream to circulate throughout our bodies and be deposited in other organs throughout our bodies. It is believed that one of the most effective ways to counteract the effects of this is to do a colon cleanse.
A good thorough cleanse can flush these toxins out of your colon so that you will no longer be contaminating your body, and you will actually be getting the nutritional benefits of the foods that you are consuming.
After your first heavy cleanse, you should do it at least once a year after that. Eating a healthy diet, and avoiding the processed foods as much as possible will help also. This is one of the most important things that a person can do to become, and remain healthy.
